Personally I'm a console gamer though, I like a even playing field away from D3D hax and Hack accusations in games all over the place lol. 
But that's my decision, I still play PC sometimes though but don't really own any titles.

Also:
Same hardware = Same FPS
Locked Down Game = No exploits such as custom textures in games where it is advantageous e.t.c
