We know little planet makes its annual return every 6 months or so was it?
If that's the case then Sonic CD must take place after 3&K considering it appears again Sonic 4.

But as i remember it Little planet does not make a return.Its just in the episode metal where metal sonic recovers in little planet and flies back to earth.

Lol, it's the whole point Sonic 4 is being tied in with Sonic CD.
Dr. Eggman has built the Death Egg MK II around little planet, and it's how he was able to recover metal sonic, because it came back, if it had no returned annually, he'd of never got Metal Sonic back. Also if it was there the whole time, Eggman would've gone with this plan ages ago.

Yet still he doesnt attack cities with massive forces to take them over.Ok,sonic and his friends could be a threat but he can build armys and armadas in matter of days.If he would act like the Archie Eggman,he could have been a very big threat.
