Well he beats Green Hill then obtains emerald and Chaos Controls back in time and makes sure this does not happen, simple. And no Sonic Generations. |

| I jist think having Shadow would break the story and just chaos control and prevent game from happening once he obtains first emerald. (in Fact Sonic can Time/Dimension chaos control as well but only with 7 emeralds so why did he fight Eggman) |

sonic only needs one emerald to do chaos control just like shadow |

You do know he can teleport himself with just one emerald right? Yes but not Space and Time and/or Dimension simultaneously. Just space itself. Shadow can do Space/Time and Dimension with one emerald unlike Sonic who needs 7 to change/travel through time/dimension. Prime examples of that are Sonic Rivals and Sonic X (Sonic X is canon in itself folowing sa1, sa2, sonic battle and eventually its own story - also see credits I'm sure you'll find Yuji Naka) |
