For me it's the other way around. I've had a much better experience on SSMB then I ever did on the Sega forum.
I sometimes got attacked for my opinions on Sega forum which has never happen to me on SSMB.

This. I grew tired of the SEGA Forums, and left. I don't know, the SSMB always seems to be happier and more lively than other fansites I've seen. While some may see them as Modern fans and Big haters, we all have our opinions. Besides, it's better than having the same topic being repeated over and over, and there isn't drama. Hazzah for no drama! I'm not one to hate on another fansite, but I just wish others could get along. I don't mind being on different fansites, and I wouldn't want to see wars going on.
