| So im trying to find a used Genesis from my local retro store, and they don't have one in. I plan to call every weekend to see if they get one in, but if they don't for a while I might want to consider getting a clone system. At the store they sell a "Gen X dual station" for $70 that plays Genesis and NES games, and comes with two Genesis like controllers (I've heard you can't use the original controllers too). Is this thing any good? Here is the product http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00117GOWE?qid=1352942231&sr=8-6 |

| I'd go with the Genesis itself. I wouldn't want a fake rip off that would probably not work. So you'd have a better chance of having both the NES and the Genesis rather than the fake thing. |

| True. They gotta geta Genesis in eventually. I've seen that store with effing everything before, but recently they are kinda out out of most retro consoles. |

| As for it not working, I'm sure it would work fine. An old 20 year genesis system probably wouldn't be and better. The main reason I want an original more is for the novelty, and the original controllers. |

The fake thing is actually rather reliable and plays the games really well aside from few minor sound issues. |

I could even; play Genesis games on my phone lol Some people have a bit of a conscience. Others, though, just feel that it's not truly an authentic feel without authentic hardware. |

| I cant stand emulators. I want to play on a TV, with the real cartridge, and a real controller (The clone has fake controllers but still) |

OK lol I remember playing Sonic Riders (on PC) like a bad ass. I hacked the Game.exe so it rendered in 1920x1080 FULL HD,connected to my big TV and connected my ps3 controller wirelessly it was so lovely just looking at the graphics , it was quite fun playing too. |
